Two important things. Well, maybe three.
This is it! The home stretch! Just a couple of quick notes to our guests:
A new hotel in Atlanta, Hotel Palomar, opens April 29 and is offering a $109 weekend rate plus a bottle of wine! How can you go wrong? My lovely coworkers are poised to take over their own little block of rooms and I invite any other guests still in need of a hotel room (or want to switch from your current reservation) to check this place out. It’s just a mile or so from Magnolia Hall, so you can catch a cab there back and not have to worry about driving under the influence of an open bar or finding a parking place in Piedmont Park.
Oh! Speaking of parking, it’s going to be tight. The Piedmont Park/Atlanta Botanical Gardens parking garage doesn’t open until May 2, which doesn’t do us a lot of good. There’s a parking lot adjacent to the Hall, but it’s public parking and we can’t reserve spots. If you’re close enough to cab it, or can carpool, please do!
Lastly, a quick shout out to Neil for making awesome invitations. We saw that our photographers twittered about their copy and, I don’t know, it felt like kind of a big deal. We’re excited about working with them and glad they’re looking forward to our wedding.
