Our Families
We wouldn’t be where we are today without the love and support of our families.
 Allan and Meg Henderson were married in Centerport, New York, on November 29, 1975. They met at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where Meg had just started her Freshman year and Allan was killing time before starting graduate school in Ohio. They moved to Kingston, New York, after they married, which is where all three Henderson kids were born. The family moved to Marietta, Georgia, in 1987. |
 Kazu and Gwen Konouchi met in New York City where Kazu had moved in 1967 for work and to attend graduate school at NYU. Gwen worked in the same office and helped him with typing his class assignments so she could practice her Japanese, which she was studying at The New York Buddhist Church. They were married on June 1, 1968, and spent 9 years living in Japan before moving back to the US and eventually settling in Marietta, Georgia. |
